How You Can Support Morgan’s Skating

As Morgan pursues her dream of becoming the top in her sport, she cannot do it alone. Top competitive junior and senior level figure skaters spend over $70,000 a year on expenses such as training, equipment, and travel.

You can help support Morgan’s skating by making a tax-deductible donation to the New England Amateur Skating Foundation (NEASF). Please make your check payable to the NEASF and include this form (click here to download) stating that you would like your donation to be applied to Morgan’s skating expenses.

Morgan receives money from the fund by submitting a skating expense bill to the NEASF. The bill must be signed by a parent and the head coach. The NEASF will make the payment directly to the provider of services. A receipt will also be forwarded to the donating party.

Your contribution can be mailed to:

About the NEASF

The NEASF is a non-profit organization with the sole purpose to assist competitive amateur skaters by defraying some of their ever-increasing expenses such as ice time, lessons, costumes, equipment, competition fees, strength training, ballet, off-ice classes and travel expenses. Donations are received from both individuals and corporations. Almost 100% of your donation goes directly to the skater. The NEASF charges only 2% of donation to cover administrative and compliance expenses.  The NEASF is tax-exempt under 501(C)(3) of the Internal Revenue Code.  Donations, therefore, are usually deductible. You should consult with your tax accountant or adviser as to how your contribution is to be treated.
